A tuft-forming perennial usually treated as an annual. The crinkly saucer-shaped flowers rise on long, hairy stems and may be white, yellow, pink, orange or red. Blooms add late winter to garden borders.
For best results plant in seeds trays and transplant when the seedlings are 7 cm high. Plant seedlings between 20cm and 30cm apart in a sunny location sheltered from the wind with well drained soil. Water regularly and feed as per instructions on the fertiliser label.
